This and That
I hope everybody had a great Christmas and a safe holiday season. For all you married folks, don’t forget that Valentines Day is Wednesday.
Untreated 4X4’s. We get a lot of calls about non-pressure treated 4X4’s, especially with all the farmhouse tables being built. We found some. These are 3 11/16″ X 3 11/6″ X 8′, Douglas Fir, kiln dried, no pith, planed with a slightly eased edge. We only have about 100.
Black Limba. We now have 4/4 and 8/4. I am nuts about this species. Some boards look like spalted maple while others look like a landscape similar to Zirocote. It is light at 2.5 lbs/BF and comes in generously wide boards.
Figured Sapele. This is for the guitar builders and ones that like highly figured wood. We are already trying to bring in more of this beautiful figured wood.
Live Edge Redwood slabs. WOW! These things are great. They are all 100″ in length, 9/4 – 12/4 thick and 27″ – 32″ in width and already sanded to 120 grit.
Mesquite. We have more of the live edge shelf material in Mesquite in 4/4 and 6/4.
